Lauren Hart

Lauren has participated in a number of physical theatre performances including Mouchoir de Nuages, Spoon River Anthologies, a re-telling of Euripedes’ Medea, and Muller’s The Horatian.

Lauren has been working with stilts since January 2006.  In early 2007 she performed on stilts in the snow in an NAC/Caravan Farm Theatre production, The Snow Show, as the South Wind.  Following that the Ottawa Stilt Union began work on Beowulf for which Lauren developed the character of the monster Grendel, on four stilts, as well as a Viking.  Most recently, Lauren developed the part of Ghoul for The Girl Who Was Eaten By The Dark.

When not working with the OSU, Lauren plays Roller Derby with the The Slaughter Daughters and The Vixens of RVRG (Rideau Valley Roller Girls), enjoying the physicality of the sport.
